A collection of meditations running two and a half hours in a downloadable file from Melbourne doula, childbirth educator, pregnancy massage specialist and meditation teacher Sarah Goldberg, founding Director of Nurtured Birth.
The intention of these meditations is to instill a mindfulness practice that will assist you during pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
When practiced regularly, meditation can change your life in the most profoundly positive way. These particular practices in the recordings assist us to feel more centred and calm. These meditations were recorded live over Zoom during our most recent online meditation series. Please note that there may be references to this in some recordings.
This collection includes the following meditations:
Meditation 1: Introduction
In this meditation, we develop our understanding and acceptance of the nature of our mind, its thoughts, our feelings, and our bodily sensations. We practice observing these thoughts, feelings, and sensations without judgement or attachment by quietening the mind.
Meditation 2: Quietening the mind
In this meditation we look at the art of meditation and mindfulness, and how we can bring our mind back without commentary or judgment and with loving kindness towards ourselves.
Meditation 3: Coming home to yourself
In this meditation, we continue to deepen our mindful practice by coming home to ourselves. We bring awareness to our body and our baby, and continue to deepen this connection.
Meditation 4: Observing
In this meditation, we bring awareness to our body and noticed the sensations that reside there. We deepen our acceptance and practice of non-judgment as we focus our awareness on different parts of our body.
