At Nurtured Birth, each item is thoroughly checked prior to packing for shipping. We take care in packing the item so that it arrives to you ready to be assembled and used. If you have received a damaged item, please take a photo and contact us within 7 days of your order arriving.

As per your rights set out by Consumer Affairs, we are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. But you can choose a refund or exchange if an item has a major problem.


This is when the item:

  • Has a problem that would have stopped someone from buying the item if they had known about it.
  • Is unsafe.
  • Is significantly different from the sample or description.
  • Doesn’t do what we said it would, or what you asked for and can’t be easily fixed.

For hygiene reasons, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for intimate body-health products such as Haakaa, Body Ice, Silverette & Dentons pillows. Due to the digital nature of some products, digital items, including but not limited to our Meditation Bundles, are not able to be exchanged or refunded.


If you feel that the item you have received is faulty, please contact us on the Contact page so that we can assist in helping you with your item.


All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. If you have not received any communication, it may mean you have incorrectly submitted your email to your order, if that is the case please contact us via the Contact page.

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

How do I check the status of my order: When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your order within X days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us via the Contact page with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

We do offer shipping to P.O. Boxes.
