Administration Assistant

Casual Morning Position Available! 

We’re seeking a reliable, dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team for 2 mornings a week mainly Monday and Wednesday.

Nurtured Birth is a natural therapies clinic offering Massage, Acupuncture, Osteopathy, Doula birth support, childbirth debriefing & education. We mainly see families for  preconception care, pregnancy and postpartum care however  we also treat everyone at any stage in life. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, invoicing / payments, maintaining records.
• Front of house client  (providing excellent customer service skills)
• Managing client inquiries and scheduling appointments with warmth and efficiency.
• Providing exceptional customer service by responding to emails and phone calls in a timely and friendly manner.
• Liaising with myself and the other practitioners 
• Collaborating with our team to coordinate workshops, events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Supporting the director and practitioners with various administrative duties to optimize workflow.

• Staying on top of general upkeep of the clinic/ front of house support 

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Demonstrates proficiency in computer skills and office software applications. (We use Cliniko and our computers are Apple. ) Training provided for cliniko and other applications. 
• Excellent presentation 
• Ideally someone living relatively local 
• Reliable and punctual
• Calm demeanor  
• Exceptional work ethic with attention to detail
• Flexible schedule – sometimes our practitioners start at 8am which means arriving for a 7:30am start, other days you wont need to come in until 9:30am (This can be negotiated).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Great writing skills are a bonus but we’ve become besties with chatGPT…
• Someone with knowledge in social media is a bonus but not essential
• Someone who is open minded and has an interest in natural therapies and birth 
• Previous experience in customer service and administration is a plus but not required
• Would suit a university student looking for some extra income (especially students of midwifery, acupuncture or osteopathy)
• This is a long term position so we are looking for someone who can commit

Remedial Massage Therapist

This is either a contractor position or casual employment.  Must have experience with remedial massage and has done additional training for pregnancy massage. Evening availability and weekends would be amazing.
